Verto Pharma Consulting AB is an independent consultancy based in Sweden and operating internationally across regulated and performance driven industries.

Founded in 2014, the company was built on a simple principle. Experienced professionals delivering work that withstands regulatory and commercial scrutiny.

We are not a large corporate structure. We are a network of senior practitioners with extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory inspection, and statistical oversight. Many have led sites, managed inspections, restored compliance, and taken accountability for operational performance. Several have contributed directly to regulatory frameworks now applied across industry.

From our base in Sweden, we support organizations across Europe, North America, India, and Asia. Our footprint is international. Our structure remains focused and agile.

Our foundation is pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing. The disciplines we apply;
audit, compliance, process control, and data oversight, extend to other regulated and technically complex sectors where performance must be demonstrated through objective evidence and structured governance.

The company is owned by Ian Flawn Orpana, BSc (Hons) Applied Biology, MSc Pharmaceutical Technology (King’s College London). He is a certified GMP auditor and Six Sigma Black Belt with expertise across development, manufacturing, QC, CMC writing, expert witness work, and business development within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Ian has held senior roles ranging from leading complex technology transfer programs to Technical and Business Development Director positions.

Through our established professional network, we access more than 50 senior specialists across development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, quality, QC testing, supply chain, engineering, and CMC. Teams are assembled according to the demands of each engagement. This ensures depth of expertise without unnecessary hierarchy.
